Speaker Bio

Milad Toliyati is the Director of Axis Academy. His passion for enabling organizations, industries, and consumers to become more data-driven started when he was a Marketing Consultant designing strategies for multiple FMCG brands. Through leading focus groups and multiple studies, he observed how data literacy could enable businesses to become more outcome-driven. He has also effectively transformed a global manufacturer of diagnostic devices as a BI & Analytics manager.
Milad embarked on his career at Axis Group as a consultant where he delivered and managed dozens of data transformation projects. Being raised in a family of educators and academics, he is passionate about changing the future of data literacy in the world. Milad is actively expanding his network with academics, business professionals, and thought leaders to bring different ideas together to build a global ecosystem around data literacy.
Milad is the co-founder of The Data Literacy Foundation and the co-host of Data Literates Podcast.
Milad’s background is in Industrial Engineering with a MBA degree from Penn State University where he conducted research on problem solving and creativity.
